Mr. George Neo graduated from the University of Wales, College of Aberystwyth in 1992 and obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice in 1993. Mr. Neo excelled in his studies and was awarded Calcott Pryce Prize by University of Wales. He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court in Malaya in 1994.
Mr. Neo commenced his practice as an advocate and solicitor in 1995 with M/s Yeo, Tan, Hoon & Tee. He was made a partner in 2002. Mr. Neo’s practice is mainly litigation and his area of practice includes company law, contract law, land acquisition, tort and insurance cases. Mr. Neo acts for the Malaysian Bar scheme to defend suits filed against legal practitioners in Malaysia. Mr. Neo has appeared as counsel in the Federal Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, Sessions Court and Magistrate Court and some of his cases are reported in the law journals. He is also a regular speaker to the Johore Bar.
Mr. Neo is an avid sports fan. He is married and is blessed with 2 kids.
